Avocado hummus is a creamy upgrade to your regular hummus. The addition of the cannellini beans makes a healthier and creamier dip option. Try this easy to make dip for your next get together!


This fluffy and creamy dip is a crowd favorite. Everyone is always surprised the learn about the buttery cannellini beans. The best part of the dip is that its quick and easy. Avocado Hummus

(Serves 4-5 people)


Ingredients

  • 1 Can (15oz) Cannellini Beans, rinsed and drained

  • 2 Avocados, ripe and pitted

  • 1 Cup packed fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

  • 1/2 Cup packed fresh parsley leaves, chopped

  • 1-2 Thai green chilies, roughly chopped

  • 3-4 Garlic cloves, chopped

  • 1/4 Cup fresh lemon juice

  • 1 Tsp. Kosher Salt

  • 1 Tsp. Cumin

  • 1 Tsp. Black Pepper, freshly ground

Directions

  1. In a blender add your drained and washed cannellini beans.

  2. Add your herbs, avocado and the rest of the ingredients.

  3. Blend into a smoot paste.

  4. Place the hummus in a bowl, garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve with Pita chips or Tortillas chips (for the gluten free folks). Enjoy!
